Helping to Mentor other High Schools.....

The mentors, advisors, and student captains helped two high schools this year to achieve the goal of competing in the 2007 FVC Season.

B. E. Mays High School....

Mays needed some organizational help, as well as additional mentors to assist beyond the conceptural design.  Mays's students came over to Therrell to get some help, and spent the whole morning working with the team captains, reveiving tutorials in Autodesk, and going over strategy with the cyberpanther team.

Washington High School

Robodawgz getting at the building process.

Washington High School is a rookie team this year.  They knew that they needed some help afer the scrimmage, but didn't have any major fabricating equipment.  They also had very few supplies, nor did they have a dedicated build room.  We let the ROBODAWGZ use our build room, tools, and other supplies to finish their robot.

So, you want us to do what?!?!

Sometimes you have to work with what you've got, but when you need to have some really open space, it's good to go somewhere that allows you the space to work.  Washington's FIRST Team should be commended for building their robot under the most difficult conditions.  Their robot looks FANTASTIC!!
